Wheat or Weed
It was a tongue-twister. It was a riddle. It was a parable. It was a message. It is still a message. He who has ears, let him hear.
We were all thinking.
Have we thought too much? Have our education system today cause us to overinterpret things? It's true maybe the wheat elsewhere would be different. Everyone's message holds a point. Maybe this message has a lot of contents, applicable in different contexts.
What Ing's said reminded me of something. (It is also something a few others like KL have expressed concern over). It was a sharing from a pastor from Labuan back home.
There were students attending the school of the bad. (change a little in naming).
The big bad teacher gave a quiz to three students.
The Big Bad Teacher: How do you take people away from God?
First Student: Tell them there is no God.
The Big Bad Teacher: How can you say there is no God. You look around, you see creation.
Second Student: Tell them there is no evil.
The Big Bad Teacher: Look at the daily newspaper, you see evil.
Third student: Tell them there is no hurry.
The Big Bad Teacher: Now, I give you 100% for that.
If we link this to today's message. This may be the message.
But, then a message can put light on many different contexts. All may be true. After a while of discussion, it casts light on many areas.
